The project is a digital subscription service offering unlimited access to thousands of national and international magazines through an app available on   iOS, Android, and Web. You will work on a  cloud-based, microservices architecture , with a focus on  Next.js  for new development and  Ruby on Rails  for maintaining and extending backend functionality. The team is responsible for everything from  user sign-up  and  SEO content indexing  to  setting up campaigns , with an emphasis on delivering a seamless, performant, and scalable user experience. Experience with  Next.js  (1-2 years) for building scalable web apps. Proficiency in  TypeScript  for maintainable and scalable code. Experience with MongoDB and Redis, mainly for managing existing databases. Familiarity with GitLab CI for CI/CD pipelines. Experience with testing  (unit, integration, end-to-end) and frameworks like Playwright. Strong understanding of  REST API  design and backend service integration. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and write clean, maintainable code. Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas: Knowledge of Datadog or similar monitoring tools is a plus. Familiarity with other monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Docker and containerization experience. Experience with Ruby on Rails .
