Finance Controller (Remote - Poland)
Location: Anywhere in Poland (100% remote); but you will have access to the company offices
Employment type: Full-time (Employment contract)

On behalf of our client - a global organization providing comprehensive business services - we are currently recruiting for the position of Finance Controller. We are seeking an experienced professional to join the finance team and support both operational and strategic aspects of the business. The company offers a fully remote work model, with optional access to modern office spaces located across Poland for those who prefer a hybrid or in-office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end financial controlling processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements together with the team in accordance with applicable accounting standards (local and international)
- Support internal and external audit processes, including documentation preparation and coordination with auditors
- Identify and implement improvements in financial and controlling processes
- Manage a small finance team (2-3 FTE's), including task coordination, mentoring, and development
- Collaborate with operational teams, accounting, and headquarters on reporting and compliance matters
- Participate in international projects, including implementation of new reporting tools and operational standards

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, controlling, and reporting
- At least 2 years of experience in team management
- Fluent in English (min. B2) and French OR Italian (min. B2)
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements and working with auditors
- Experience with local accounting standards in France or Italy is a strong asset
