About the Role The Reconciliation Product team is building critical financial products that ensure the accuracy and completeness of Remitly’s financial data and are keystone to our company wide financial statements. You will build software to automate daily reconciliation processes reconciling millions of transactional events against partner data with a focus on reducing time and operational overhead within Finance teams replacing recurring manual business processes. You Have A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience, 3+ years of software development experience or equivalent, Proficiency in data structures, and algorithms and one or more general purpose languages like Go, Java, Kotlin, C#, and bonus point for familiarity with Go, Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, and bonus points for big data experience, Experience building production software utilizing modern platforms, tools, and industry-standard approaches like Kubernetes and AWS, Ability to collaborate and work as a team, Knowledge of basic architecture, systems design, and agile practices.
