Project information: Industry:: banking B2B: up to 170 zł/h (depend on experience) Start: ASAP/to determinate Location: Warsaw/ Lodz/ Gdańsk or Gdynia (2-3 days per week in the office) Summary: We are looking for a Senior Hadoop/Big Data Developer to join our Backend Application team, focusing on key IT projects within the Group Business Support cluster. The role aims to enhance software development capabilities and support initiatives utilizing Big Data technologies. Main Responsibilities: Develop applications using Hadoop, Java, and other technologies. Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Safe environment. Enhance existing systems and ensure quality through best practices. Engage in platform and software development activities for key projects. Key Requirements: 3 years of experience in Java 8 and/or Scala. Experience working with Spark. Knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting. Strong SQL knowledge. Familiarity with Hadoop stack (YARN, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, MapReduce, Oozie). Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Ansible, Bamboo, Jenkins). Nice to Have: Experience with functional programming techniques & principles, particularly in Scala. Familiarity with Streaming Technologies such as Flink and Kafka. Basic knowledge of Data Analysis. Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies.
