About the project

We are looking for a Fullstack Java Engineer to join a key initiative within the banking sector focused on implementing the Payment Services Directive (PSD2/PSD3). The role will be part of the Open Banking Development Hub, where we design and deliver digital API services supporting business banking customers.

The team is building a new, unified API platform, enabling secure and scalable access to financial services across multiple Nordic markets. This solution plays a crucial role in the digital transformation journey, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting modern integration capabilities and enhanced customer experience.

This project requires work in a hybrid model: 3 days per week in the Gdynia or Gdańsk office.

Your responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs within the Open Banking / PSD2/3 domain
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional Scrum team members to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Optimize and enhance existing services to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, and follow best engineering practices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards across delivered components

Our requirements

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development within complex or enterprise environments
- Proficiency in Angular as well as Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Practical experience with Oracle, GIT, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills with experience working in Agile/Scrum setup
- Fluent English
- Fluent in Polish and residing in Poland required
