Dear Consultant, We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a growing Data Ingestion & Data Product team. You will support the expansion and development of enterprise-grade data pipelines, near real-time ingestion frameworks, and data products used across multiple business functions. You will collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to design, build, optimize, and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant data pipelines and services. Location: Remote (Poland) Contract Type: Permanent or B2B Work Mode: Fully Remote Seniority: Senior Start: ASAP Key Responsibilities Identify opportunities to enhance the Data Product Factory's (DPF) data assets and services. Participate in design & architecture sessions focused on stability, observability, and performance. Build, test, and maintain data ingestion pipelines supporting near real-time and batch workloads. Write resilient, fault-tolerant, modular code for scalable and highly available data processes. Explore and evaluate new approaches, technologies, and data engineering practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions between ingestion, consumption, and activation layers. Contribute to documentation, quality standards, and best practices across the data engineering ecosystem. Ideal Candidate Profile You should have strong experience in: Designing and building data pipelines (batch & streaming). Developing stable, optimized, traceable data ingestion workflows. Python/Scala/Java coding for data transformation (depending on your background). Working with cloud data services, distributed systems & modern ingestion frameworks. CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps-aligned engineering practices. Collaboration with Product Owners, Tech Leads & cross-disciplinary teams. Soft Skills: Proactive, collaborative, quality-driven, and eager to experiment with new ideas. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
