Join us, and ensure flawless software delivery across complex systems Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (5 days/month in the office). As a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead, you will be working for our client, a global financial organization modernizing a portfolio of .NET applications and MSSQL databases into a modular, cloud-native Azure architecture. You will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality software across legacy and modernized systems while enabling safe and frequent releases. Your focus will include designing test strategies, building robust automation frameworks, validating ETL and reporting flows, and mentoring team members. You will play a key role in driving reliability, reducing regressions, and supporting the incremental migration of applications and services. Your main responsibilities: Design and implement test strategies across unit, API, integration, contract, and E2E layers Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and API harnesses Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with parallel and sharded execution Validate ETL and reporting flows, owning test data strategies and verification Stabilize legacy test suites and migrate them to modern frameworks Lead root cause analysis, flake management, and reliability improvements Mentor QA and developers on testability, assertions, and best practices Publish quality metrics, reports, and trends for stakeholders You're ideal for this role if you have: 5 years in QA / test automation with hands-on framework development Strong Playwright or Selenium expertise and test architecture experience Solid API testing skills using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or k6 Good coding skills in TypeScript or C# and scripting (PowerShell/Bash) Experience integrating automation into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD Practical SQL skills for MSSQL test data setup and validation Experience with ETL (SSIS) and reporting (SSRS) tools and testing flows Strong testability, observability, and debugging skills (logs, App Insights) English B2 proficiency for technical communication and documentation Experience leading QA activities and mentoring team members It is a strong plus if you have: Power BI report testing and model validation with DAX familiarity Experience with Databricks / Spark for testing data pipelines Pact / contract testing and OpenAPI validation experience k6 / JMeter for basic performance baselines Awareness of infrastructure as code (Terraform / Bicep) for ephemeral test environments We offer you: ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
