Java Test Automation Engineer Miejsce pracy: Rzeszów Technologies we use Expected Java Selenium WebDriver REST Assured Optional GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Git About the project We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer for the project of developing enterprise-wide platform that standardizes and automates the sharing of promotional details across client's global business units. The platform streamlines promotional planning, improves data consistency, and ensures reliable execution of campaigns across multiple regions. As part of the Promo Planner team, the Senior QA Automation Engineer will drive automation strategy, enhance test coverage, and ensure high-quality releases across APIs, UI workflows, and integration layers. This is a high-visibility, mission-critical application that directly supports promotional operations and business performance. Due to cooperation with an American client, this position requires work during non-standard working hours, i.e. 15:00-23:00. Your responsibilities Define and own the test automation strategy for the Promo Planner platform across API, UI, and integration layers Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for microservices and web applications Lead API test automation using REST Assured, ensuring high coverage, reliability, and fast feedback Build and enhance UI automation using Selenium WebDriver for critical business workflows Drive shift-left quality practices, including early test involvement in requirements analysis, design reviews, and static validation Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates and actionable reporting Establish and track QA metrics, dashboards, and quality indicators to support data-driven decisions Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and architects to ensure testability and high-quality solutions Perform root-cause analysis of defects across frontend, backend, and integration layers Our requirements At least 7 years of professional QA experience, including a minimum of 5 years in automation Demonstrated QA Lead or Test Lead experience, including leading strategy, coaching engineers, and influencing engineering teams Expert-level experience with API testing and REST Assured Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and scalable UI automation frameworks Proven ability to design robust automation frameworks for microservices and web applications Experienced with shift-left practices, including requirements validation, static analysis, and early-phase automation Hands-on experience integrating automation into modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) Excellent leadership and communication skills, especially in mentoring and influencing engineering teams Fluent in English and Polish (written and spoken) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Residing in Poland required Optional Experience with Azure cloud environments is a strong asset Contract testing experience (Pact or similar) Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) Familiarity with Angular or modern front-end frameworks Experience validating analytics dashboards or datasets (Power BI, Databricks) Background in retail systems, promotional planning, or merchandising workflows What we offer Great Place to Work since 2015 - it's thanks to feedback from our workers that we get this special title and constantly implement new ideas Employment stability - revenue of PLN 2.1BN, no debts, since 2006 on the market We share the profit with Workers - over PLN 76M has already been allocated for this aim since 2022 Attractive benefits package - private healthcare, benefits cafeteria platform, car discounts and more Comfortable workplace – class A offices or remote work Dozens of fascinating projects for prestigious brands from all over the world – you can change them thanks to Job Changer application PLN 1 000 000 per year for your ideas - with this amount, we support the passions and voluntary actions of our workers Investment in your growth – meetups, webinars, training platform and technology blog – you choose Fantastic atmosphere created by all Sii Power People Recruitment stages Send your CV Talk to us about your expectations Learn more about our projects and choose the best Start your adventure with Sii Sii Sp. z o.o.
