Senior Actuarial Consultant (Central Validation Unit) Miejsce pracy: Gdańsk Your responsibilities developing and implementing approaches, methods, tools and processes for the quantitative and qualitative validation of the Internal Model and reserving models P&C (including modelling approach, stability of models, model specification and parameters, data quality, model results, etc.) technical supervising and executing of the validation of models for risk and technical provisions calculations formulating and aligning validation findings and defining appropriate measures and recommendations with the stakeholders involved preparing validation reports supporting the Head of Validation Unit and the Actuarial Functions in forming their opinion on the adequacy and reliability of the valuation and risk models Our requirements fluency in English knowledge of German (min. B1 level) university degree in mathematics, computer science or comparable education with a focus on financial mathematics min. 2 years of professional experience in P&C insurance (preferable relating to the German market) in at least one of the following fields: risk management, actuarial, statistics, IFRS17 or ALM competence to provide professional guidance very good communication skills and a strong team spirit independent way of working and a high level of commitment and integrity proactive approach to work willingness to travel abroad (once/twice per quarter, 2/3 days) Optional Actuarial Qualification What we offer Let's be healthy – medical package, sports card, and numerous sports sections – these are some of the benefits that help our employees stay in good shape.
