ABOUT THE ROLE Join our team as a Staff Software Engineer and play a crucial role in driving our organisation's growth through the development of outstanding products. LeoVegas Group is building something special – a world-class team dedicated to creating the best Sportsbook platform in the market through cutting-edge technology and innovative gaming experiences. This is a dynamic team that will be working on creating new cool features and integrating them into LeoVegas platforms.  We’re seeking a dynamic individual who can deliver state-of-the-art code while prioritising performance and scalability. We are recruiting for two teams: Retention:  In the retention team we build features for bonuses, rewards and mission systems (gamification) to differentiate our products from competitors. Also, this pillar has player account management and iGaming integration. Sportsbook:  In the sportsbook team we work in a high-volume, real-time environment, integrating data feeds with our modern trading system and transactional betting platform (UI/Backend). Your contributions will include building advanced search functionalities and developing automation for dynamic content adaptation. You'll also play a crucial role in utilising models to optimise pricing strategies and manage risk effectively.   As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate effectively while also demonstrating initiative and a passion for sharing innovative ideas. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Work with state-of-the-art technology stack and deliver features in our microservice ecosystem in an autonomous environment. Build, maintain, develop, test, deploy and enhance our products and features. As a Staff developer you will have a key role in owning delivery plans and aligning the product importance of reducing technical debt and prioritising platform initiatives Identify obstacles to ensure quality and improve our user experience and how we build our products. Work with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment. Build for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack. OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: ESSENTIAL SKILLS 8+ years of software development experience with Java and related frameworks such as Vert.x, Netty, Micrometer, Quarkus or Spring Boot (for the Retention team reactive stack is a must have), preferably in an agile environment  Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful end to end Microservices Experience with automation and monitoring Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching and messaging systems  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, acting as a technical representative of the team with the ability to communicate technical challenges to non technical stakeholders NICE TO HAVES Online gaming and gambling experience WHO WE ARE At the core of LeoVegas Group is Team Leo. WHAT WE OFFER : monthly salary: 20 000 - 32 000 PLN net VAT (B2B) OR 16 500 - 26 500 gross PLN (UOP) you can work in a hybrid model, we would like you to show up in our Warsaw office three times a week, the rest of the days of the week are up to you, we work in European office hours, ​​800 PLN monthly for benefits (we have a platform with sport cards and different options for private healthcare), welcome package, no dress code, international teams, Equipment: MacBook Pro 16" (or 14")/M3 Pro 12-core CPU/18-core GPU/36GB RAM/512GB SSD + smartphone (iPhone 15 or Samsung Galaxy S24 - it’s your choice).
