Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer at Playbook Engineering, you will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. You will collaborate closely with delivery teams, design, and support teams to create and maintain robust testing frameworks, perform thorough testing, and ensure that all products meet the highest standards before release. This role will involve a mix of test automation, exploratory testing, and CI/CD integration to ensure our web applications and services are reliable, user-friendly, and performant.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality assurance.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing, web technologies, and CI/CD integration.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress, with a solid understanding of web technologies and REST APIs.
- API and Microservices Testing: Proven experience in testing APIs and microservices, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Analytical Skills Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in exploratory testing and identifying potential issues early in the development cycle.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to align QA processes with product goals.
- Independent and Organized: Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience in load/performance testing, preferably using tools like k6 or JMeter.
- Experience in creating automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.
