We're looking for an experienced Backend Consultant (Node.js / AWS) to join and help us build a brand-new backend system for our consumer-facing applications. What you'll be doing Designing the architecture and developing a greenfield Backend for Frontend Advising the team and contributing to key technical decisions Building and scaling backend services in a serverless environment Working in a 4-person agile team Tackling complex backend challenges to make applications more stable, secure, and scalable Migrating data from our legacy system to the new one Tech stack Node.js AWS (Lambda, AppSync, Cognito, DynamoDB) Google Cloud Platform (nice to have) GraphQL Who you are You have strong experience with AWS and serverless architectures You are proactive – you spot problems and solve them independently You're a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating and sharing insights with the team You take ownership of your work but also thrive in brainstorming and co-creating solutions You're motivated to deliver robust, scalable, and secure backend systems
