About the project

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (Vue.js / Node.js) to join the Sopra Steria team for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in a stable, industrial environment within a multinational team (France, Poland, India) supporting a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program includes a wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams. Our scope is to build solutions that support pilots, crew, airlines, and airport operations using modern technologies.

Applications are developed mainly in two streams: frontend (JavaScript frameworks like Vaadin, Forms, Joget) and backend (Java/.NET) and deployed to AWS Cloud.

Note that we can offer cooperation only to candidates located in Poland (preferably Silesia or Gdańsk).

Tech Stack on the project:

• VueJS (Vue 3, Composition API)

• .Net

• TypeScript

• AWS: AWS lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda Functions and other AWS services are used

• Microservices-based architecture

• Entity Framework

• GitLab, CI/CD in code, Jenkins/Cloud bees

• Terraform/CloudFormation, Artifactory

• End to end testing with Selenium, Python and Gherkin (high test coverage required)

• Static code analysis, SonarQube.

Your responsibilities

- Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
- Help to define requirements and implement software designs
- Create and test software to enhance the solution and all related modules and services
- Working with UI/UX designers
- Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques
- As a Scrum team member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of implementation

Our requirements

- At least 4 years of experience in software development
- Vue.js and Node.js knowledge
- Solid IT technical background
- Git knowledge
- Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
- Strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Fluent English B2/C1
- Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice/Gdańsk
