Cybersecurity Business Analyst

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst , you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, supporting the delivery of cybersecurity and compliance platforms. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing functional and non-functional requirements, collaborating with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and control owners. Your role involves defining epics within agile sprints, maintaining traceability between business requirements and technical specifications, mapping integrations and APIs, and conducting workshops and demos to validate solutions. You will provide guidance to stakeholders and ensure that delivered features meet agreed acceptance criteria in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities: Gathering and analyzing functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders Defining and prioritizing epics, features, and user stories for agile sprints Collaborating with engineering teams to maintain traceability between requirements and delivered features Conducting workshops and demos to validate solutions and achieve stakeholder sign-off Mapping integrations and APIs between solution components and internal systems Defining acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are met Advising stakeholders on platform capabilities and requirements elicitation Supporting project delivery within aggressive timelines while maintaining quality Communicating effectively with vendors, project managers, and support teams You're ideal for this role if you have: 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in cybersecurity or compliance platforms Hands-on knowledge of vulnerability scanning, compliance, configuration baselines, and inventory management Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments writing epics, features, and user stories Experience with API integrations, microservices, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP) Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Quick learning ability and a proactive, self-motivated mindset Excellent written and verbal communication in English Experience supporting delivery timelines without compromising quality Ability to manage competing priorities and drive consensus It is a strong plus if you have: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS or CIS benchmarks Relevant cloud or business analyst certifications We offer you: ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
