You will be: developing and maintaining backend services in Python using Django and FastAPI, building web applications and microservices with attention to scalability and security, implementing business requirements and proposing pragmatic solutions with clear trade-offs, working closely with an international team and communicating proactively, contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring code quality, integrating with external APIs and services, including cloud-based components. Your profile: 5 years of commercial experience with Python and strong understanding of its runtime model, data structures, async programming and concurrency, experience building APIs (REST / GraphQL / WebSockets), solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, request lifecycle, CORS, cookies, sessions, OAuth, and general web app security, experience with Django and/or FastAPI, Linux, Docker and container-based deployments, ability to design and evaluate solutions holistically, considering trade-offs and engineering constraints, practical experience with systems operating at real scale and traffic, ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code and follow good engineering practices, strong communication skills: explaining technical decisions, discussing business requirements, identifying risks and dependencies, proactive, self-driven, curious, continuously improving skills, interest in AI/ML and modern web technologies, good verbal and written English (min. B2). Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required.
