Software Engineer III Dataform

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. Preferred qualifications: 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms. Experience developing accessible technologies. Experience with Kotlin, Scala, Java, Go, Kubernetes, TypeScript, Docker, Workflow Systems. Experience with Angular, React or similar UI frameworks. Experience with API Development, Distributed Systems, Large Scale Distributed Systems, and Scalability. Responsibilities Own working across a wide range of technologies to deliver new APIs, services, infrastructure, features, and fixes to the Dataform platform and to our open-source projects. Work closely with Program Managers, UX, and Technical Leads to define product and technical requirements within the UI, API, and Open-source framework. Contribute to the development the core product, working across a range of different technologies: Kotlin, Golang, C++, Typescript, Spanner, Borg, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Apps Framework, Angular and more. Design, implement, and launch new products, features, and components with high product excellence, technical quality, and at high velocity.
