We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BI / Data Modeling Lead to join a remote development team. with solid experience in semantic modeling, reporting, and dashboard development, who has recently worked with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Looker, and BigQuery Industry: IT services Office location: Poland, Warszawa Work model: Remote Budget: 160 net/h- b2b Project length: December 2025 - January 2026 with option to extension Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland Start date: ASAP (depending on candidate"s availability) Your responsibilities Maintain and support a legacy application in sunset mode Lead design and maintenance of semantic data models and reporting layers in Looker and BigQuery Build and optimize interactive dashboards for performance and scalability Implement governance, access control, and multi-environment setups Develop automation scripts using the Looker API for content migration and user sync Support Looker deployments, maintenance, and embedded analytics Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable BI insights Lead BI projects end-to-end, from planning to delivery Our requirements 5 years in Business Intelligence focused on reporting and semantic modeling At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Looker and BigQuery on GCP Proficiency in advanced LookML concepts: extends, refinements, includes parameters, templated filters, advanced dimensions/measures Strong understanding of Looker performance optimization Experience with instance governance, access control, and multi-environment setups Familiarity with Looker API for automation tasks Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Optional GCP Cloud certification Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) Customer-facing migration experience Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Oracle), R, or Python 7 years of technical client service experience in Data Analytics This is how we organize our work This is how we work at the client's site you focus on a single project at a time you have influence on the technological solutions applied you develop the code "from scratch" you focus on product development you focus on code maintenance agile scrum This is how we work on a project documentation issue tracking tools testing environments Development opportunities we offer development budget external training industry-specific e-learning platforms intracompany training mentoring soft skills training substantive support from technological leaders support of IT events technical knowledge exchange within the company What we offer Remote working model Full-time job agreement based on b2b and employment contract Private medical care with dental care (covering 70% of costs) rehabilitation package.
