Senior React Developer

OneRail is a technology company innovating solutions for multi-modal delivery. We have built and continue to develop a delivery orchestration platform that connects shippers to an extensive courier ecosystem to automate, optimize, and control the entire delivery supply chain, from the demand signal to the proof of delivery. Our OmniPoint SaaS platform uses proprietary algorithms and artificial intelligence to power efficient same-day delivery programs for major companies like Lowe's, Pepsi, American Tire Distributors, and Advance Auto Parts. As Senior Front-End Developer, you join a team of talented engineers and developers working together to transform final mile logistics and supply chain operations. Your role will be to develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces, ensuring seamless API integration and an exceptional user experience. You'll collaborate with designers and backend engineers while optimizing performance and staying up to date with frontend best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient front-end code following best practices. Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Identify and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues. Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Stay up to date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies. Requirements: 6 years of experience in frontend software development Proficiency in using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and Webpack. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors. Familiarity with state management libraries like MobX. Strong understanding of front-end UI/UX principles and best practices. Experience with server-side rendering and front-end architecture patterns, e.g. micro front-end or single page applications Knowledge of performance monitoring tools for front-end applications. Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress. Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions. Familiarity with containerization using Docker. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken (B2).
