Senior Java Developer / Application Architect Location: Warsaw (Hybrid: 3 days in the office) Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible Contract Type: B2B (170–200 PLN/h VAT) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Application Architect to play a key role in enhancing technical maturity, architectural standards, and the overall quality of our custom-built applications. You will combine hands-on development expertise with an architectural mindset, guiding the team toward best practices and modern engineering approaches. Your Responsibilities: Design and implement application components using Java, Spring Boot , and cloud-native technologies. Drive architectural improvements and contribute to long-term solution designs. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure high-quality outcomes. Mentor team members on software engineering best practices and clean architecture principles. (Optional) Support requirements engineering activities to align business needs with technical solutions. Technology Stack Backend: Java, Spring Boot Frontend: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript Cloud: Azure DevOps: GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure as Code Architecture: REST API, Microservices Databases: SQL / relational Requirements Minimum 8-10 years of experience. Strong expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem. Solid understanding of architectural design patterns, distributed systems, and API design. Hands-on experience with CI/CD , containerization (Docker) , and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor others, and drive architectural improvements.
