Lead with vision, elevate engineering quality, and shape scalable, modern systems. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of backend engineers in developing scalable, high-performance software solutions. About the role In this role, you will oversee technical execution, drive architectural decisions, and ensure best engineering practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will play a crucial role in both hands-on technical leadership and people management to deliver robust backend services. Your responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Define and drive backend system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Promote consistency across teams, oversee dependencies and integration risks, and drive informed technical decisions grounded in trade-offs and engineering metrics. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and execute development roadmaps. Oversee system performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting complex backend issues. Work with frontend, DevOps, QA, and other teams to build seamless and efficient backend services. Ensure backend systems adhere to security best practices and industry regulations. Our requirements 8 years of backend software development experience Expertise in C++: Strong background in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and experience with backend system development. Strong knowledge of concurrent programming, memory management, and performance tuning. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and drive technical discussions.
