Java Developer Location: 100% remote (EU-based) Contract type: B2B Working time: Full-time About the company Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, Poland. Our projects range from fintech and digital identity to enterprise and public sector systems — always with a focus on collaboration, precision, and impact. About the role We're looking for a Java Developer to join our international engineering team. You'll work on designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications for enterprise and SaaS platforms. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver modern, efficient, and reliable software solutions in a cloud-based environment. Your responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems Ensure application scalability, reliability, and security Participate in the design and optimization of microservices architecture Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (JUnit, Mockito) Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD) Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Developer Strong proficiency in Java 11 / 17 and Spring Boot Hands-on experience with REST APIs , JPA/Hibernate , and SQL/NoSQL databases Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes environments Experience working with Git , CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems Solid grasp of design patterns , clean code principles , and unit testing English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Familiarity with Kafka , RabbitMQ , or other messaging systems Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC Experience in performance tuning and security best practices German proficiency at B2 level or higher What we offer 100% remote work within the EU Competitive B2B compensation tailored to your experience Long-term collaboration with international projects Modern tech stack and agile development environment Collaborative and supportive team culture Access to the latest tools and technologies ️ Note We are currently building a talent pool for upcoming projects.If you'd like to be considered for future opportunities as a Java Developer at Kyotu , send us your CV — we'll reach out once a matching project becomes available.
