For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Software Engineer

Location: remote / Poland
Branch: project in finance sector
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: December 2026 (possible extensions)
Rate: 160-217 PLN/h (net+vat) on B2B
Start date: 10th December 2025 (or a bit later)
Working hours: Business Working Hours
Remote work: 100% remote work
Methodology: Scrum

Tech stack:
Java (JDK 1.8/1.7), JEE, Maven, Hibernate, EJB 3.1, MQ, SQL, REST, XML, XSD, JSON, Oracle, PostgreSQL, docker/kubernetes

Project:
Project for a large client from the IT / Finance Sector

What will you do:

- Design and development of Java applications
- Construction and development of integration services
- Implementation of functionalities based on user requirements
- Participation in the implementation and configuration of the software

What we expect from you:

- 6+ years of applications development experience
- Excellent knowledge of Java (JDK 1.8/1.7), JEE
- Strong experience with Maven, Hibernate, EJB 3.1
- Proficient in MQ, SQL, REST, XML, XSD, JSON
- Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Unit testing, integration testing, Selenium-based testing
- Very good knowledge of WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss
- Very good knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2+/C1)

What would be a plus:

- Higher education in the field of computer science, mathematics or related
- Kafka knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with Rally, Clarity
- Additional PostgreSQL expertise
