The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing software tests according to acceptance criteria for feature specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Tech-Leads and Software Delivery Managers to add acceptance criteria to project direction via User Stories
- Create actionable acceptance criteria from high-level business requirements and user story concepts
- Develop Test Plans and Strategies for projects or products
- Determine when implementation does not align with customer's intent
- Design test plans across initiatives within projects/products
- Analyze quality risks for given features
- Configure and upgrade Quality Management Systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems
- Develop and coordinate induction training to raise awareness on quality processes among employees
- Communicate programs, standards, and procedures to quality teams and other plant employees
- Participate in elaboration of Group tools to measure performance
- Recommend new quality policies or procedures to ensure high-quality products, processes, or services
- Carry out extensive statistical analysis and work as per results derived from analysis
- Report regularly regarding system performance and new developments
- Provide technical support during software installation, configuration, integration, and tests
- Provide project-level quality snapshots to strategy leaders
- Travel to sites in Norway to align, train, and support QA efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferably with specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality, or related field with minimum 7 years of experience in the field
- Experience with Quality Assurance of software within hardware systems
- Experience with software and system development
- Experience in using tools for testing and verification of complex functionality
- Experience with specification, detailed design, qualification, testing, and maintenance of software applications
- Experience in solving complex product and system issues
- Experience in establishing Product definition, including testing based on Customer requirements, applicable codes and standards, including company requirements
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge and experience of different Agile methodologies
- Experience with source control like Git and CI/CD tooling
- Release project documentation according to International Standards and Customer requirements
- Detailed understanding of system(s) involved with developed software
- Skilled with automated testing tools and QA strategy
- Experience using Jira for Agile project management
- Basic knowledge of Network (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English (B2/C1)
