Job Description

We are seeking a Mid/Senior Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on PySpark on Databricks. As a key member of our project teams, you will design and implement technical solutions that incorporate data modeling and integrations, data warehouses, and cloud-based data pipelines.

Your role will involve:

  • Building end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines on Databricks using Python and SQL;
  • Designing data models based on large, complex data sets that meet business requirements;
  • Collaborating with our project teams to deliver high-quality solutions;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Databricks functionalities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in data projects;
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL;
  • Experience with Databricks on Azure projects;
  • Knowledge of Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or other orchestration tools;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Databricks functionalities;
  • Practical understanding of data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse platforms implementation;
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure and data services;
  • Effective communication skills, proficient in Polish and English;
  • The legal right to work in the EU.
