Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product. As a Semantic Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that utilizes ontologies and semantic data to empower healthcare professionals and patients.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new ontology domains into our Knowledge Base product, enhancing its capabilities and providing medical support to patients worldwide.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including product designers, developers, QAs, data scientists, and medical experts.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Familiarity with OWL and RDF for modeling data and utilizing ontologies in software products.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SPARQL queries.
- Experience working with RDF graph databases (e.g., GraphDB, Stardog, Apache Jena/Fuseki).
- Solid background in data modeling and documenting data models.
- Experience working with ontologies, preferably in the healthcare domain (e.g., SNOMED CT).
- Strong understanding of logic, reasoning, and semantic technologies.
- Proficiency in programming with Python or Java.
- Fluency in both English and Polish, spoken and written, to ensure seamless communication and teamwork in a multilingual environment.
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and secure software.
- Implement a new ontology domain into our Knowledge Base product to enhance its capabilities and provide medical support to patients worldwide.
- Work closely with Tech, Product, and Medical Teams to support team members and provide guidance when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- Play an active role in requirement analysis, ensuring software solutions meet business needs.
