The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Staff Business Analyst (Team Lead) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead Cosmose Data Team, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, translate complex business needs into actionable plans, and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Cosmose Data Team: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring engineers and analysts work efficiently together; provide guidance and coaching.
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable plans: Lead the requirements gathering process, conduct a thorough analysis, and develop clear and concise action plans, utilizing both manual and automated tools to provide the necessary data.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive business analysis solutions: Develop and implement analytical frameworks, reports, dashboards, presentations, and processes to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with stakeholders across departments (e.g., product, engineering, marketing) to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights: Identify areas for improvement, recommend process optimizations, and contribute to the development of business strategies.
  • Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with industry trends: Research and evaluate new analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance the team's capabilities and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst or related experience; experience in a leadership role is a plus.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional understanding of statistics.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL-based databases.
  • Experience working with data analysis tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of business processes and strategic alignment.
