Job Description

Boeing AvionX is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Poland. As an AvionX Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for avionics and electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize modern programming techniques, tools, languages, and agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems.
  • Perform engineering activities including architecture design, requirements review, software development, integration, and testing.
  • Proactively contribute to project execution plan to set and effectively achieve operational goals.
  • Influence, innovate, and continuously improve the software engineering process as well as quality, safety, and reliability of products and services provided by Boeing.
  • Cultivate a positive staff culture and team motivation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
  • Experience in C++ or at least one other high-level modern programming language.
  • Experience in developing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Experience in virtualization techniques (VirtualBox, QEMU, Docker, etc.).
  • Experience in embedded programming (Yocto Project, Device drivers for Linux, etc.).
  • Experience in debugging and analyzing Linux kernel operations.
  • Collaborating in international and multi-national projects.

Important Information:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in POLAND. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
