Job Title: OpenShift Administrator

Arηs is seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Administrator to join our team. As an OpenShift Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our OpenShift infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain multiple OpenShift clusters across virtual and cloud environments
  • Research and implement ways to automate the management of our infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and availability of the OpenShift environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration, networking, storage, security, and other aspects of the OpenShift environment
  • Collaborate closely with other teams in DOS Sector (infra, networks, systems etc.)
  • Develop and implement best practices for deploying and managing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift
  • Create and maintain documentation for operational processes, procedures, and configurations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent command of English, at least at B2 level
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Linux system administrator, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Minimum 3 years experience directly working in an OpenShift environment
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS), and experience with cloud-based deployments
  • Experience in managing multiple OpenShift clusters in virtual and cloud environments
  • Experience with database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Expertise in container orchestration frameworks such as OpenShift
  • Expertise in troubleshooting issues relating to various aspects of the OpenShift environment (orchestration, storage, security etc.)
  • Expertise in monitoring and optimizing system performance, capacity and availability in an OpenShift environment
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages
  • Strong automation skills with proficiency in Ansible
  • Valid Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Red Hat Certified System Engineer certification
  • Valid Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator certification
