Salary: The estimated salary for this position is approximately 35,000 - 45,000 PLN per year, depending on experience and qualifications.


Job Description:


We are seeking an intern to join our application security team and assist us in implementing both automated and manual security scans of our products. As a cybersecurity intern, you will work closely with our development teams to identify security issues and help secure MSI's most sensitive data.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist development teams in implementing automated scans in their CI/CD processes.
  • Customize automated scanners with internally developed scanning rules.
  • Analyze scan results, identify false positives, and confirm exploitability of findings.
  • Perform penetration scans and prepare findings reports.
  • Implement internal tools for work automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerability types, especially related to web applications.
  • Basic programming skills in Java, Python, NodeJS environments.
  • Ability to perform penetration scans or experience in bug bounty hunting is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
