Quest Designer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Quest Designer to create engaging and immersive stories within our worlds. As a key member of our design team, you will have the opportunity to develop detailed storylines, design quests, and implement them using Unreal Engine 5.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing storyline details and designing quests
  • Implementing quests using Unreal Engine 5
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless integration
  • Maintaining high-quality quests and resolving reported issues
  • Creating and updating design documentation

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Quest or Mission Design position, with a shipped AAA title featuring strong narrative design
  • High creativity and narrative proficiency
  • Proven proficiency in writing scenarios, screenplays, or short stories
  • Strong visual scripting skills
  • Experience with game editors and design tools
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
