The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance, particularly in the oil and gas sector. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation and Verification: Prepare and verify documents related to letters of credit, such as invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.
  • Bank Collaboration: Maintain relationships with banks to open, modify, and close letters of credit. Negotiate financing terms and credit lines with European banks.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Track the status of trade transactions and ensure timely flow of documents. Resolve issues related to document discrepancies or payment delays.
  • Risk Analysis: Assess risks associated with trade transactions and recommend mitigating measures. Monitor changes in international trade and finance regulations.
  • Support Trading Department: Collaborate with the trading department to optimize financial and trade processes. Provide advice on best practices related to trade finance.
