Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborating in cross-functional teams dedicated to critical components of the Adverity platform.
  • Taking ownership of internal development and delivery infrastructure.
  • Accessing, managing, and maintaining production and development environments.
  • Designing, provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing a scalable cloud architecture.
  • Maintaining an automated foundation of platform services.
  • Ensuring platform security by implementing and adhering to best practices.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the technical services owned by the team.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for technical improvement.
  • Analyzing complex systems to identify bottlenecks and optimizing performance.
  • Engaging with engineers and leadership to share knowledge and contribute to technical strategies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional working experience.
  • A solid understanding of cloud hosting environments like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong Linux operating system affinity.
  • Experience building, adjusting, and applying Terraform configurations.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps (ArgoCD), and artifactories (JFrog or Nexus).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of database systems, especially PostgreSQL.
  • The ability to take full ownership of your domain.
  • Experience translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
