CAE Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled CAE Engineer to join our Product Design Studio within the Engineering Competency Center. As a CAE Engineer, you will work on various projects from the Aerospace industry, closely cooperating with Airbus in Toulouse in the areas of design, calculations, and research.

• Apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques to perform structural analysis of aircraft components and systems, including stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and durability assessments.
• Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to analyze aerodynamic performance, airflow behavior, and thermal management of aircraft configurations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate CAE analysis results into the design process, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Develop and validate CAE models and methodologies to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise and support to engineers and designers in interpreting CAE results, identifying design constraints, and proposing innovative solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through clear and concise reports, presentations, and technical documentation to stakeholders and project teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with CAE software, such as Ansys, Abaqus, or similar tools for structural and/or fluid dynamics analysis.
• Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA), including static and dynamic.
• Strong understanding of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) principles and experience in simulating fluid flow, heat transfer, aerodynamics, or aeroacoustics.
• Solid background in aerospace engineering principles, including aircraft structures, propulsion systems, and materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering data and provide practical solutions.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly and convincingly.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of CAE and aerospace engineering.
• Good English language skills.
