Senior Systems Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Development Engineer to lead the technical development of system features in collaboration with cross-functional teams, component leads, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement system-level requirements and architectural proposals.
  • Negotiate technical requirements, project scope, and subcontract deliverables for system features.
  • Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and testing teams to facilitate implementation and verification of defined features.
  • Ensure designs comply with requirements while maintaining test quality and coverage.
  • Engage engineering teams, suppliers, and partners to uphold internal quality processes throughout development, execution, and verification.
  • Conduct technical analysis, trade-off studies, and support FMEAs, design reviews, and customer presentations for defined features.
  • Serve as the primary contact for related change requests and issue investigations.

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle in one or more of the following areas:
    • Development of automotive electronics systems, particularly sensors and actuators.
    • Power electronics, especially motor drive inverters.
