Job Purpose

The Global FP&A Analyst supports the Global Controller in analyzing and controlling all financial aspects of the Global Functions. This involves various activities, such as periodic results analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and developing driver and activity-based cost models to ensure transparent and effective cost control worldwide.

Responsibilities
  1. Analyze monthly actual costs incurred by the Global Function(s), reviewing worldwide purchase orders, invoices, and accruals, and providing instructions to the accounting department for accurate and timely cost recognition in line with IFRS.
  2. Prepare budgets and forecasts using global function models with key stakeholders, reporting on financial performance compared to budget/targets based on trend analyses of key performance indicators.
  3. Analyze performance using various data sources (SAP, HFM, CFIN, Coupa) and design reports providing transparency to stakeholders in monthly and ad-hoc performance reviews.
  4. Assess strategic and operational initiatives on their added value by preparing business cases and tracking performance into actual financial results.
  5. Contribute to the Global Functions Team by seeking ways to improve, standardize, and automate work across the team.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics or an equivalent analytical study.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or FP&A roles, preferably in a large, international corporate environment.
  3. Excellent Excel skills, able to reduce complex data to a readable high level, with experience in PowerPoint an advantage.
  4. Experience with SAP is a strong advantage, with consolidation systems like HFM and BPC an advantage but not a prerequisite.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
  6. Naturally curious and analytical with an eye for detail.
  7. Able to work independently but also a keen team player.
  8. Continuous improvement mindset, flexible, adaptable, and resilient.
  9. Able to work well in a remote/video hybrid team setup.
  10. Experience with Power BI and other data analytic tools an advantage.
