Join Citibank Europe plc Poland as a skilled Fund Accounting Specialist and contribute to the success of our Operations - Transaction Services team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of valuations for defined clients. You will also review stock and cash reconciliations, analyze causes of recurring exceptions, and assist in ensuring corporate actions are correctly reflected on the NAV. Additionally, you will aid in the collection and analysis of relevant management information, contribute to the development of team processes and procedures, and facilitate the prompt investigation and resolution of client queries. As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial market operations, accounting, and financial management principles. You will consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and have the opportunity to work in an international, multi-cultural environment. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds
  • Review stock and cash reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of valuations for defined clients
  • Analyze causes of recurring exceptions and suggest enhancements
  • Assist in ensuring corporate actions are correctly reflected on the NAV
  • Aid in the collection and analysis of relevant management information
  • Contribute to the development of team processes and procedures
  • Facilitate the prompt investigation and resolution of client queries

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience within financial services
  • Knowledge of financial market operations, accounting, and basics of financial management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting
  • Studying for ACCA, ACA or CIMA at an advanced level
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
