Cybersecurity UI Designer

We're a US-based cybersecurity startup, and we're seeking a talented UI designer to help us create a security solution that truly matters.

At ReLock, we safeguard web and mobile applications against sophisticated cyber attacks with our Session Sentinel. This innovative tool automatically re-verifies the user at every action they take, delivering continuous authentication and breach visibility.

This makes it an indispensable component of enterprise security suites, and we're looking for someone with a strong track record in designing interfaces that merge utility, intuitiveness, and aesthetics.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $66,000 based on B2B contract, with final compensation determined by skills, knowledge, and abilities.

You will collaborate with our founding team to understand project goals and bring the UI vision to life. You'll transform complex technical features into visually clear and engaging UI elements that enhance user onboarding, engagement, and overall experience.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring brand consistency across all graphic elements, creating a cohesive and engaging user journey. You'll conduct usability testing to identify pain points and optimize the interface for various user personas.

You'll also ensure the UI is responsive and performs seamlessly across devices and browsers, and document UI design guidelines, workflows, and best practices to streamline development and maintain consistency.

• 3+ years of professional experience in UI design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing modern, responsive interfaces
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, along with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design methodologies
• Strong visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail in typography, color, and layout
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design concepts effectively
• Proactive, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when needed
