The role of Accounting Manager/ Chief Accountant is a vital position within our global company in the household appliances sector. As a seasoned accounting professional, you will oversee accounting operations for the Polish entity while managing financial activities across 11 Central and Eastern European countries.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Oversight of month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting across the CEE region
  • Management of all tax matters, including transfer pricing compliance and adherence to international and local financial regulations
  • Action as a compliance ambassador, ensuring both internal and external accounting regulations are met, with clear financial and fiduciary responsibilities
  • Driving process optimisation in accounting under the guidance of the Director of Accounting and central treasury functions
  • Supporting regional finance initiatives and structural projects
  • Leadership of the regional accounting team


**Local Responsibilities - Poland (30%):**
  • Management of month-end and year-end closing processes for the Polish entity, ensuring accurate financial statements and cash flow reporting
  • Oversight of local tax matters, including tax declaration processes and regulatory compliance
  • Action as a key compliance representative, ensuring alignment with local accounting and financial regulations
  • Coordination of external audits and ensuring smooth cooperation with auditors
  • Leadership of the local accounting team and collaboration closely with shared services teams
