We are looking for skilled software engineers with a strong site reliability engineering discipline to help us improve the stability and availability of our globally distributed cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and build systems for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with the engineering teams on product design, decision-making, and troubleshooting.
  3. Enhance general stability, observability, and metrics surrounding uptime and stability.
  4. Lead the development of our monitoring infrastructure.
  5. Implement and improve our site reliability posture (error and downtime budgets, MTTD and MTTR improvements, alerting and notifications, minimizing customer impact from incidents).
  6. Respond to and troubleshoot downtime events while actively developing safeguards to prevent them.
Requirements:
  • 4-6+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, ECS, VPC, Redis, RDS, ALB, ECR).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
  • Experience in managing production-critical infrastructures and DevOps mindset.
  • Familiarity with SRE best practices and procedures.
  • Experience with IaC (CDK, Terraform), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
  • Knowledge of network, firewall, and security best practices.
  • Experience with self-healing automation and monitoring tools (DataDog, CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • A strong problem-solver with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with Linux-based EC2 instances.
