As a leading global contract research organization, Fortrea is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to join our team. This role requires a passion for designing and building web-based applications that directly impact drug development teams, clinical trial investigators, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect Microservices and JavaScript based modern frontends.
  • Collaborate with product management and business teams to understand customer needs and iteratively improve products.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and approaches to enhance software products, leveraging containers and the latest .NET platform technologies.
  • Commit to excellence, best practices, and continuous improvement of user experience, code base, processes, innovation, and tools.
  • Pursue new ideas, designs, estimates, and feature roadmaps in partnership with product teams.
  • Propose modern technologies to solve business problems.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure quality through standards enforcement, peer code review, and automated tools.
  • Guide junior developers in software design, coding, configuration, testing, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Architect with a focus on complex technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise in Cloud Platforms, Microservices, Micro frontends, Event Driven architecture design, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including AngularJS, Angular, and other JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of design for security, scalability, performance, and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a Clinical Research Organization or healthcare-related industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of advanced computing platforms common in the healthcare industry.
