Job Summary

In this role as a Senior Systems Engineer at Aptiv, you will design, develop, and validate new products and technology to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and supervise systems activities in projects
  • Define and estimate project technical and organizational resources required for systems activities
  • Coordinate development of the system concept in projects
  • Provide technical advice and oversight for customer requirements elicitation, system requirements, and system architecture development
  • Provide technical support and coordinate technical aspects of project development
  • Represent project in front of customer for technical discussions
  • Lead and mentor technical problem-solving activities
  • Monitor industry-related technologies and market available solutions
  • Be active as an engineering professional outside of the company
  • Take a lead in technical and organizational innovation programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • 3+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive Industry
  • Proven record of taking customer requirements from design to production
  • Familiarity with microprocessor/controller-based hardware designs, System/Software Architectures for automotive designs, and network topology
  • Experience with CAN, Ethernet, LVDS Communication
  • Experience with Simulink, MatLab, CANoe, CANape, etc. tools
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, flexible, and able to work with complex issues
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Excellent Leadership skills
