We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to join our High Content Screening facility within a large project focused on assay development in neuroinflammation and fibrosis. This role involves close collaboration with cell biologists and AI-based imaging experts. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has expertise in mammalian cell culture (including hiPSC-derived cells), immunofluorescence/immunocytochemistry, molecular biology techniques, and imaging analysis software, with basic skills in script generation for HCS phenotypic assays.
Main Responsibilities
- The principal role in the development and coordination of novel high-content assays for drug screening in a multi-task project.
- Supervise cell cultures in ongoing projects and eventually provide hands-on support to collaborators (e.g. junior scientists).
Requirements and Qualifications
- MSc in Biology, Molecular Biosciences, Biotechnology or related disciplines with a minimum of four years of experience in an industrial environment (preferably Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biosciences, Molecular Cell Biology, Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, or related scientific disciplines with a minimum of two years of experience in an academic post-doc or industrial environment).
- Strong experience with mammalian cell culture (experience with hiPSC/hESC and primary cells is highly desired).
