Senior BI Developer - KPMG Data Intelligence Solutions

Job Title Description

  • Design, modify, and maintain reports, dashboards, and business applications using BI tools (development work - approximately 90%),
  • Support clients in analyzing requirements, identifying data sources, and creating ETL processes,
  • Build cloud-based data processing solutions,
  • Analyze collected data and manage it in data warehouses and relational databases,
  • Provide advice on choosing optimal solutions tailored to client needs,
  • Support the development of technical skills of other team members,
  • Manage a small team of developers, responsible for delivering projects to the end client,
  • Close cooperation with the business owner, project manager, and business domain experts to effectively implement projects,
  • Develop and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Power BI and DAX,
  • Practical ability to use tools: DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit,
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL,
  • 4 years of work experience, including 2 years of experience in a similar position,
  • Experience in designing reports and dashboards, both in technical and visual aspects,
  • Experience in working with clients to identify and analyze requirements,
  • Higher education - preferred: computer science, quantitative methods, or related fields,
  • Excellent knowledge of English in speech and writing,
  • Experience in preparing summaries of test results, analyses, and documentation in Polish and English,
  • Excellent organizational skills,
  • Ability to work with numbers and draw logical conclusions.

Additional advantages of candidates:

  • Knowledge of other Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate),
  • Experience in implementing analytical solutions on the Azure platform (Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics),
  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM/DevOps,
  • Knowledge of Git versioning systems,
  • Knowledge of VBA, Python, and/or GNU R,
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and/or d3.js library.
