We're looking for an experienced professional to take care of our high-volume, multi-tenant, and distributed data processing pipelines. You'll collaborate on cluster maintenance sub-system: monitoring tools, logging, alerting, security, disaster recovery, and user reports using Prometheus/Kibana/Grafana/ELK/APM.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting clusters (AWS/Kubernetes/ArgoCD/Flux/Helm/Terragrunt), working with application owners and developers to provide SLA, documentation, and automation, designing architecture of new workflow and big data pipeline solutions using Airflow, Trino, Redash, ArgoCD, Argo-events, and relevant technologies, and debugging failing processing engines under time constraints.
The ideal candidate must have a very good understanding of Linux internals (processes/threads, service management, resource allocation), good programming and debugging skills with at least one programming language (Python preferred), 2+ years of professional experience working with Linux environment, proficiency in English enables effective communication in an international environment, experience in production environment support, experience with AWS, experience collaborating and managing source code with Git, ability to debug and find solutions under pressure, ability to guide the team in a good direction, and ability to help on-call on EST (around one bigger incident per month).
