Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Engineer with expertise in DevOps to join our team. This role will involve designing and implementing scalable solutions to automate building, testing, and deployment of chatbot applications and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development: Define and establish processes for development, testing, release, updates, and support in DevOps operations.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deployment of chatbot applications and updates.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Set up monitoring and logging systems to track performance and health of the infrastructure, ensuring quick detection and resolution of issues.
  • Security Implementation: Implement security best practices, including managing access controls, conducting security audits, and securing deployments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, architects, and other team members to ensure smooth integration of chatbot solutions within the infrastructure.
  • Solution Design: Design and implement scalable solutions to handle increasing numbers of users and interactions without performance degradation.

Requirements:

  • Technical Experience: Good level of experience in SQL & Windows Server administration or Linux Server administration or similar roles.
  • HA and DR Options: Experienced with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
  • Performance Tuning: Good level of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization.
  • Automation Skills: Good level of automation skills, via scripting (mostly PowerShell, Ansible).
  • Windows Server and Active Directory: Good level of experience with Windows Server and Active Directory and related technologies.
  • Azure DevOps: Experienced with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Backup and Restore: Experienced with backups, restores, and recovery model.
  • Active Directory and Kerberos: Experience with Active Directory and Kerberos capabilities and concepts (for Windows) or LDAP and PAM (for Linux).
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player: Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
