Your Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and semantic data models.
  • Promote data modelling principles, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCALABLE, REUSABLE DATA ASSETS IN COLLABORATION WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS.
  • Design enterprise and targeted logical models to aid system development and data asset creation.
  • Engage with the Client's department to ensure the alignment of data models with trusted sources and business ownership.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure that data models meet business objectives and satisfy relevant controls.
  • Communicate data models and solution designs to both business users and development teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logical data modelling and delivering artefacts adhering to governance standards.
  • Strong conceptual and logical thinking skills, with the ability to look at the bigger picture.
  • Experience designing enterprise logical models with a good understanding of abstraction techniques.
  • Knowledge or experience in industry models such as BIAN, FSDM, and BDW.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to both IT and business stakeholders.
