About the Role

The Junior Finance Analyst will support the Client Account Finance Manager in all aspects of the finance function, including month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This is a key role that requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare invoices and supporting documentation for clients.
  • Review payroll and disbursement costs analysis.
  • Prepare and upload journals as requested by client finance teams.
  • Manage and improve the invoicing process to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
  • Support the monthly reporting process by ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month-end.
  • Ensure bank accounts are sufficiently funded and reconciled.
  • Run month-end reports and perform E1-PS interface upload.
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations and SOX Checklist.
  • Support E1 company setups and COA maintenance.
  • Run unposted transactions report pre-month end close and work with client finance analysts to clear.
  • Closing AP, AR, and GL ledgers as requested by client teams.
  • Review GL results and inform client finance analysts/client finance managers of any issues.
Client-Facing Responsibilities
  • Deliver client and JLL financials related to the client contract.
  • Develop and implement client reporting tools.
  • Support client-side finance teams with queries/information requests.
  • Identify and initiate necessary change control processes.
  • Coordinate communications with project stakeholders regarding status, progress, and issues.
  • Maintain project schedule data, cost data & performance indicator data in online integrated IT system.
  • Provide expert advice to local facilities managers.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the wider client team in developing and enhancing the client delivery platform.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant policies and procedures and make recommendations to ensure they are maintained and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2/3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Bachelor's degree in a finance discipline or equivalent.
  • Working towards ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel Power Pivot.
  • IT skills in business information tools an advantage (Power Pivot/Database Management).
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, JDE E1 Financials.
  • Experience of finance in a facilities management context is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work assignments simultaneously and handle a high-pressure working environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain issues and present complex information clearly, concisely, and consistently.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Demonstrate personal commitment with high velocity and speed of response and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Positive, solution-oriented communications and a willingness to take responsibility.
