We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Professional with expertise in Java and Java EE programming, including frameworks such as Spring. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Angular 2+, NodeJS, npm, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, AJAX, relational database technologies, Hibernate, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL queries, stored procedures, data modeling, and application containers like Apache Tomcat and WebSphere.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing a variety of application components, researching new technology options, creating integration and application technical design documentation, completing development, configuration, and unit testing of high complexity areas, resolving complex defects during testing phases, supporting and executing performance testing, collaborating with business teams to clarify requirements, understanding application use cases, and providing production support and troubleshooting.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please ensure you meet the following qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding and experience in Java and Java EE programming, including frameworks such as Spring
  • Knowledge and work experience of the Angular 2+ framework with Typescript experience
  • Knowledge and work experience of NodeJS and npm as well as JavaScript/JavaScript Frameworks, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, and AJAX
  • Knowledge and experience with relational database technologies preferably with experience in an ORM persistence tool such as Hibernate
  • PL/SQL, Oracle experience in building SQL queries, stored procedures and understanding of basic principles of data modeling
  • Working experience with IBM DB2 databases and DB2 SQL is a plus
  • Knowledge and work experience with application containers such as Apache Tomcat and WebSphere
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience implementing business applications
  • Ability to design enterprise wide, large scale implementations
  • Experience with SOAP/REST web service development
  • Familiar with tools such as GIT, SVN, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related work experience required
