Key Responsibilities- Design and implement data engineering practices and standards to ensure high-quality data pipelines.
- Analyze and organize raw data ingestion pipelines to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Evaluate business needs and objectives to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to define new data product use cases and their value.
- Take ownership of data product pipelines and their maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability, serving as the 'Quality Gatekeeper' for developed Data Products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices from the Data One community and adapt them to our operations.
- Previous experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in data modeling techniques (Data Vault).
- Advanced expertise with ETL tools (Talend, Alteryx, etc.) and SQL programming experience, including proficiency in Python.
- Previous experience with agile methodologies in Software Development and working with Data Transformation Tools like DBT.
- Hand-on experience with DevOps, DataOps practices (CI/CD, GitLab, DataOps.live) and Snowflake, with certification preferred.
- Experience with the lifecycle management of data products and knowledge of Data Mesh and FAIR principles.
- At least 2-3 years of DB/ETL development experience, preferably with Talend and DBT.
- Ongoing support from a dedicated agent for project continuity and client contact.
