Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements, and driving process improvements in areas under your remit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complete, accurate, and timely financial reports (corporate reporting) for entities or clusters of smaller entities.
- Oversee month-end-close activities, ensuring they are carried out in a robust and efficient manner by our partner BPO (General Ledger, Period End Close, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation activities).
- Ensure compliance with ICFW and SOX requirements, driving control remediation where necessary.
- Review Balance Sheet Reconciliations prepared by the BPO, drive quality, and resolution of open items, assess BS healthiness, and surface risks to be addressed.
- Support process improvements in areas under your own remit, resolve deficiencies identified.
- Produce routine analyses, schedules, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare audit deliverables as required.
Why You?
- Accounting degree/qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) acquired or in process.
- 3 years of post-qualification experience or post-degree.
- Experience in Financial Reporting or Audit Firm.
- Practical experience with IFRS.
- Experience of working in a Control/SOX environment.
- Excel skills essential.
- Previous experience with SAP preferred.
- Analytical skills required.
